Editor's note: Protesters remain outside the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia and reporters have tweeted images of police in riot gear inside the venue's perimeter. After reports of tension between demonstrators and at least one report of a physical fight, images now show a calmer scene. The Inquirer said the crowd has shifted back to peaceful debates, and we've also seen videos with demonstrators calling for peace during tense moments. Earlier, several large groups of protesters - including Bernie Sanders supporters and Black Lives Matter - joined up and drew onlookers, possibly sparking tension, Politco reports.
