Shooting at UCLA, June 1, 2016

Editor's note: To recap the latest information from LA Police Chief Charlie Beck, UCLA gunman Mainak Sarkar, who graduated from the university in 2013, is believed to have traveled to Los Angeles in the past few days. He left behind a note at the crime scene asking for someone to check on his cat, and gave the address of his home in St. Paul, Minn. There, investigators found a so-called "kill list" which named the slain professor, another who was not on campus Thursday, and a woman who was subsequently found dead at her home in Brooklyn Park, Minn. Beck would not release the woman's name, deferring to local law enforcement there. - Tricia
